This normal state of being in harmony is well known as being health, thus regularly chanting could help us to stay healthy and even though to heal some deceases, thus participating in global-healing.

This would be the main reason why we like to chant, or to pray. The most powerful Lord Shiva mantra, which materializes the harmony with eternal life, thus with immortal Universe, is Maha Mritunjaya mantra. It is to remember that Tri-Gunyas, Tri-Mutris, Tri-Deities are always representing Monada, One Unity of All, exactly as the unity of Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva/Shakti, the unity of creative-binding-materializing principle, bearing in mind that the top most binding force of Eternal Universe is Love.
Let me translate the chant Maha Mritunjaya, as non-expert for Sanskrit, but rather the native speaker of SRB-German origin, based on basic understanding of the united Universe. On this purpose, we are going to use some existing translation published online. Furthermore, the purpose of this is neither to compete nor to compare to the other people of knowledge, to whom I'm grateful for shearing the original information with the world, but rather with aim to present the method of using the reason-ability based on basic knowledge and understanding of natural forces merging the heritage and scientific sources of information, in order to get better the understanding, thus to achieve a better harmonious jingling with overall harmony.

Since the words are symbols, they have multiple meanings. Therefore, it is possible to translate and re-interpret the one and the same text, in numerous ways. Being aware of the meanings of some roots, thus syllables or etymologies of complex words, we could be capable to get more meaningful translation. In numerous cases, the multiple meanings, although slightly different of each another, are matching the meaning of complete lyrics. Ripened cucumber expression concerns multiple meanings. On one hand it means the adult man who is talking wise words, which are intercepted by the listeners similarly to the seeds falling at the fertile ground. On the other hand it symbolizes the erected lingam (pelvis), therefore it should not be released, neither separated of the stem nor of the body, except in the case it is neither about the penis nor about the wise man, but rather about the fruit full of seed. The third meaning is concerning prolonging the life cycle, describing the Holy Fertilization process.
