Return of steam engine trains

Back to the future now... always now.

We are all aware of the matter of fact that the steam engine belongs to past, although steam turbine, which is nothing else but steam engine accommodate to drive the power generator is most common device in power generating applications wide implemented on a large scale. The reason why is it so, leys in the matter of fact that the water boiling temperature decrease with increased pressure within the pressure pot, which in turn spare the energy necessary for keeping the boiling process to going on. In previous captures, we have briefly described how the water steam turbines could be simplified and enhanched in functionality, in order to generate much more power then expected, just using the simple templates, described in details in
Harmony Supported Applications and Harmony Supported Devices, by Vladimir Mikael, available at scribd.com, among the others, particularly free of charge.

Now we are going to highlight how the steam engine could turn back into the future now. Recently used steam energy convertors, which consists of heat source, pressure pot, and steam turbine, are using in best case only one closed loop, reusing the water by condensing the steam exhausted from turbine, and injecting the for heated water back into the pressure pot. Our optimized bladeless turbine, allows for minimizing the volume for maximizing the power of the steam engine. Since the steam stream pressure is utilized to initialize the energy conversion process, the additional substituted environmental energy sources are mostly taking part in the output results. Including numerous energy conversing processes in our energy conversing system, we are going to optimize the results of our application. In doing so, our steam engine is going to have huge ratio power to volume, without to spend any fuel, therefor to represent the winning power system, since the wins are going to be collected along the time without limitation. The impacts on environment and society on a small as well on a large scale are described in previous chapters.

At this place we are going just to reiterate the basic concepts. We would need to implement the bladeless Tesla turbine which working speed is very high, up to 10,000 rpms. Therefore, using appropriate power transmission system, we would be able to extract huge amounts of mechanical power on the shaft of the load. Including simple but efficient conversion of supplemented energy sources, such as steam and air mixture snail shaped accelerator, closed loop which allows for implementing the controlled feedback, by looping back part of exhausted fluid mixture to the intake via simple jet-nozzle, which involves additional environmental air mass into the energy conversion process, increasing significantly the pressure within the turbine case, along with speed of driving fluid. In result we are going to get easy to control output power with relatively low pressure and mass of water steam stream. Of this reason the pressure pot size could be very small for generated amount of output power. The same principle is also valid for the steam turbine size.

The estimated power for the steam turbine of quarter of meter of diameter, 5 cm thick stack of 50 disks of stainless steal sheets 0.5 mm thick with 0.5 mm distance among each another, with 4.5 sqm working surface and 5.5 kg weight, which working speed amounts 10,000 rpms for maximal rotational power, amounts approximately 1 kW concerning the rotating weight only. Then, depends on which kind of, and how much of additional energy sources are we going to implement and to convert into resultant output energy, the available total amount is going to be achieved. For instance, which pressure and which fluid inflow amount are we going to introduce into the turbine. Just be aware about the matter of fact that introducing the closed loop with simple jet-nozzle is going to cause self-sustained operational mode, which we would have to keep under the control in order to secure the system to does not explode, simple managing the over-pressure. Depends on sustainability of the pneumatic turbine case, and implemented security over-pressure valves, we could achieve the amplification factor of several 100ths, thus with easy to get several 100 kW of output power. Alternatively, we could enlarge the size of the turbine, in order to lower the working pressure within the turbine case.

Matching the self-resonance harmonically to the planetary resonant frequency, by determining the rotor size to matches the harmony with Schuman resonant frequency, we are going to match additional energy source, which base on resonant energy peek of coupled resonant circuits. In this particularly case, the planet Earth is the huge resonant circuit, the gateway to the eternal oscillating Universe. In doing so we could get additonally resonant magnifying factor of 100 and even more, matching the resonant conditions, achieving the result of 10 MW power, which would be enough power to replace the engine of strongest locomotive, which pull the train.

By introducing appropriate power transmission system we could additionally enlarge the output power 10 folds, achieving the working rotational speed of 1,000 rpms. In the case of train steam engine application, we could cascade several power transmission systems in order to better achieve our needs. The first in chain power transmission system reduces the working speed to match the needs of classic power gear, which allows for constant input rotational speed for wide range of output power.

In this way we could get very powerful steam engine, but very reduced in size. This is our train of future now, since any future always starts now. We could achieve the steam engine of the part of volume of standard steam engines for huge output power, no fuel costs, thus producing wins and accumulate huge funds along the time. It is not appropriate for self-made since it could be pretty danger depends on designed power. Therefore, this optimized steam engine represents technology improvement, which could be implemented worldwide on common benefits.
